Setup Instructions
Connect your Garmin data to Claude in a few steps.
Garmin MCP gives Claude read access to your training history — recent activities,
weekly summaries, heart rate zones, VO2max trends, and personal records — plus the ability to
build structured running workouts that sync straight to your watch.
Your server URL
https://garmin.boalbert.se/mcp
How to add this as a Connector in Claude
Use claude.ai or the Desktop app for setup — the mobile app can’t add custom connectors yet. Once added, it’ll be available on mobile too.
- Open Claude and navigate to Customize → Connectors
- Click “+” and select “Add custom connector”
- Paste the server URL above into the URL field
- Leave Advanced settings (OAuth Client ID / Secret) blank
- Click Add — Claude will open a browser window for you to register
- Enter your Garmin email and password, then click Register — already registered but reconnecting (e.g. on a new device)? Use the Login tab instead
What we store: Your Garmin email and password, encrypted — nothing else, and
never shared with Claude or Anthropic. It’s reversible, not hashed, because this server needs
to log into Garmin on your behalf (Garmin has no third-party OAuth), so it can technically be
decrypted by whoever runs this server. Activity and health data fetched during a conversation
isn’t logged or stored — it passes straight from Garmin to Claude.
